Lawrence Brownlee jumped into La sonnambula at the Metropolitan Opera and performed the role of Elvino October 11th and 14th in Rolando Villazón's new production while in final rehearsals for La fille du régiment. Brownlee replaced Xabier Anduaga, due to illness and received critical acclaim.
