The International Opera Awards have announced their 2026 nominees.
Lawrence Brownlee has been nominated as a finalist for this year's Male Singer of the Year. In 2017, Brownlee was nominated in the same category and won.
His album Golden Age with soprano Erin Morley has also been nominated in the Recording (Recital) category.
The winners will be announced at the 2026 International Opera Awards ceremony on Saturday, November 21, taking place for the first time at MusikTheater an der Wien in Vienna. The ceremony will be hosted by Petroc Trelawny and livestreamed worldwide for free on OperaVision.
